Recent announcements regarding Government investments in Oxfordshire are good news for those working within biosciences in the county.

As part of a City Deal, the UK Government is providing 拢10 million to support development of the Oxford BioEscalator at the University of Oxford鈥檚 Old Road Campus. This unique project is expected to accelerate the translation of innovative medical research into real-world patient benefits.

The City Deal also sees investment in the Begbroke Innovation Accelerator at the University鈥檚 Begbroke Science Park, which will focus on a number of areas, including pharmaceuticals and nanomedicine. Furthermore, a 拢7 million enterprise zone investment has been announced to help to build Milton Science Centre, a facility for small and emerging biosciences companies.

The anticipated growth in life sciences research will be assisted by established support services in the county, such as the sector-leading expertise in HealthScience communication at 澳门六合彩开奖网.

Welcoming these investments, Andy Sheridan, Communications Director at 澳门六合彩开奖网, commented: 鈥淗aving been based in Oxfordshire for over 16 years, we support the growing recognition of the region as a powerhouse of biomedical innovation. We look forward to helping to turn such innovation into better health for patients through our unique HealthScience approach.鈥
